What kind of performance impact will AutomateWoo have on my site?

You might be thinking, that’s a lot of features, is this going to slow down my site? We are committed to minimizing the performance impact of AutomateWoo and the good news is that we load almost nothing on the front-end of your store!

Most of AutomateWoo’s functions are processed in batches in the background to ensure that your server continues to run smoothly. Components are only loaded when they are being used and some features such as abandoned cart can be completely switched off in settings. AutomateWoo stores its data in custom database tables so that queries are efficient and your WordPress posts table stays clean.

Does deactivating a site free up my activation limit?

Absolutely! When you deactivate a site you can immediately activate your subscription a new site. You can deactivate sites from the WooCommerce.com Account Dashboard – My Subscriptions tab.

How does AutomateWoo send email?

AutomateWoo will send all emails with the same method your WordPress site uses. This will normally be your web server but we recommend using an email service to improve email deliverability.

AutomateWoo and it’s add-ons can be purchased via the WooCommerce.com Extensions Store. A subscription entitles you to 1 year of updates and support from the date of purchase.

Is it possible to develop custom Triggers and Actions for my site?

Indeed it is! Any developer can create a custom trigger or action that can be used in combination with AutomateWoo’s existing functionality. We have code examples in our documentation.
