Can I customize how the emails look?
Yes absolutely, by default AutomateWoo makes use of the same email template as your WooCommerce transactional emails and you can override the template in your theme. It’s also possible to create fully custom email templates for AutomateWoo.
Designing a HTML email is simple with AutomateWoo as it makes use of the standard WordPress WYSIWYG editor, meaning you can also include images and custom HTML when editing. For more on emails see Email Tips.
What kind of performance impact will AutomateWoo have on my site?
You might be thinking, wow, that’s a lot of features I don’t need all of that, but more features means more overhead, right? We are committed to minimising the performance impact of AutomateWoo and the good news is that we load almost nothing on the front end of your store!
Much of AutomateWoo does is processed in the background in small batches so that underpowered servers keep running smoothly. The various components of the plugin are loaded only when they are actually in use and some components such as abandoned cart can be completely switched off in settings. AutomateWoo also stores its data in custom database tables for more efficient queries and to keep the WordPress posts table clean.
How can I reduce the chance of emails ending up in spam folders?
We recommend using one of the many email delivery services available to send emails from WordPress. This is especially important if you are sending a lot of emails using AutomateWoo because many servers set a limit to the number of emails and aren’t a reliable way to deliver mail.
Using a delivery service is easy to set up and most providers have a good free tier. For more about this please see Email Tips.
Is it possible to develop custom Triggers and Actions for my site?
Indeed it is! Any developer can create a custom trigger or action that can be used in combination with AutomateWoo’s existing functionality. We have code examples in our documentation and our team is also available for custom development, just contact us.

Does AutomateWoo rely on the WP Cron system?
