Trigger an email to encourage a repeat purchase from repeat customers by showing them complementary products/services depending on what they’ve already purchased.

Workflow setup

  1. Create a new workflow.
  2. Select the Order Completed trigger.
  3. Select the Customer - 2nd last paid order date rule then use 30 days to target repeat customers who have made 2 purchases in the last 30 days.
  4. Click Add Action and select Send Email and include the variable {{ customer.email }} as the email address.
  5. Populate the required fields.
  6. Craft the content of the email. Include the cross sell items by including the {{ order.cross_sells }} or {{ order.related_products }} variables.
  7. Click the Preview link to preview your email to ensure it is correct.
